徒弟技艺高，莫忘师父劳

anto said...: This sentence is quite similar to another proverb... something to do with the water and its source.. who knows?

the direct translation would be, when you are drinking a cup of water, don't forget where you get the source.

saying that when you're learning something and becomes more knowledgable in that area, never forget who is the one who helped you along the way.
